A champagne socialist reflects on Western culture and the Universe... and whilst gazing at his navel, he comes up with a lot of useless lint. It is the fruits of this navel-gazing that form the substance of this blog.
I'm not a racist but....
Published on November 20, 2005 By Champas Socialist In Politics
Remember New Orleans and all the black gangs raping people in their hour of need? And let's face it, it's not the only time we've seen that a very large proportion of criminals are BLACK. There I said it. I hate to be the person that points it out. I'm not racist. I just constantly point out the bad things that some blacks do and then make generalisations about how race affects the situation. You can't deny that race is a factor. You just have to look at the news, and there it is. Black people committing crime. I'm genuinely interested in knowing why so many blacks detest living an honest lifestyle. It's an innocent question.

Before I give you my theory, I just want to point out that I like MLK so no matter what the Lefties tell you, I'm no racist. I think lots of black people are probably very cool, I just prefer not to hang out with them. They can go be cool somewhere else. Why should I have to hang out with them except on Thanksgiving? I have my preferences. So what?

My theory is that black people are just prone to making bad choices. Some blacks manage to overcome their natural instinct to choose badly through hard work and initiative. If black people work hard they can become decent members of society. And yes, it's a white society. So what? I make no apologies for that. It's become unfashionable to point out that white people created this land of freedom. A lot of white people worked hard to create this great American society. I'm damn grateful to them. Sometimes they had to do some unpalatable things to achieve this, but if that's the cost of freedom then so be it. If the early settlers hadn't fought hard to take the land off the Indians, where would we be today? If it weren't for the hard-working imported (or stolen as some loonies like to call them) African slaves we wouldn't be the great American nation we have become. I thank those black slaves for their work, so you see I'm not racist. But some blacks just like playing the victim.

Is it my fault that the black slaves weren't paid for their work and now have nothing to pass onto their children? If those blacks would just stop complaining, and take their mind off drug-dealing for a minute, they'd be able to start from scratch all over again and build themselves up. They should stop feeling they're entitled to everything and just pull themselves up by their bootstraps like every other race has had to since arriving in our great American nation. God bless America.

I'm not saying all blacks are prone to making bad choices. (I say that for the sake of the loony left, but I resent having to drag my style down for the sake of accuracy). I'm just making an observation about what I see in the world. In Africa you have widespread blackness and widespread poverty. Black people making bad choices. I'm sorry if that offends you, but it's their fault, not mine, so we should just butt out and let them sort out their own goddamn mess. The Lefties want to claim that colonization had an adverse affect because they like living in the past. Colonization worked great in America, so I don't see why that's the problem. Africans had the chance to choose an industrialized society if they had got off their asses before white people got there and just made progress. But they didn't. It's just an observation. I don't see how you could attribute this to any other factors besides bad choices. And if it was that many black people making bad choices, it must be something about them. But I'm sure the Lefties will have their excuses about how environment or religion or oppression came into it.

In America, it's undeniable that blacks make up a high portion of our criminals. Our Australian bloggers will also know that the Aboriginese have the same problem, if they can dare to admit it. Those blacks chose that life. The New Orleans looters chose that and they were black. You didn't see the whites making these choices. It must be something about them. I know it's unpolitically correct to point this fact out, but I'm just being honest about what I see. (Aren't I such a cool rebel by being un-PC?) When you look at the world's criminals and lowlifes, they are made up of predominantly one race. Black people seem to be prone to making bad choices. There's nothing much any bleeding heart liberal can do about that. We just have to allow people to make their choices and live with it. Isn't that how evolution works? The fittest survive and make money.

What's racist about that?

Oh look at me. I'm so clever I'm BUMPing my own article to get attention. Why should I have to wait for genuine interest in my articles?

Excellent, candid article.
Valuable insights. And good opinions.
Thanks for the good read.

One question, though:
Why should I have to hang out with them except on Thanksgiving?

Are the family obligations on Thanksgiving preventing you from hanging out with black people? Do you normally feel obligated to hang out with black people? That's kinda harsh.

Champas I thought you were serious too until I read your bump and then I got it. I guess you need a satire warning like the adult content at the beginning of the article.

No, not at all. I make a choice not to hang out with black people because of the type of people I like to hang out with. Black people obviously have a gene that makes them more likely to make bad choices. I don't want to hang out with people who deal drugs or steal from other people. That's my right to choose. It's not my fault that I, as a white person, am not genetically predisposed to making bad choices. That's how I became among the fittest. That's how I rose to the top. I was lucky enough to have my genetic make-up, and now society has simply rewarded my good choices. We can all do this if we just work hard and show initiative.

Yes. I agree. It's time they stopped whining and starting working.

If only I could get the smirk off my face...

hey you forgot the part about them not being able to swim.

otherwise, it's a damn near perfect example of its genre.

btw:
a glitch in JU that doesnt list recent articles in the recent forum posts lists, so a single bump to add it to that list is a good idea if you want it to be read.

Champas,

Good one mate. I was wondering how many suckers you might get, but it appears most know satire when they read it. It was just what I needed to brighten up an otherwise ordinary day. Thanks
