I am glad you are happy with his inaguration. As a proud American who upholds everything this country was built on, I may not like him as President, but I respect him and will support him (to a certain extent of course). He will, after all, represent us around the world. The elections were fair and it's the way our country functions and it's proof our fgor of Democracy works.

Let's put our differences aside for a moment and look forward to a better future. In the end Obama can help fix things (or make it worse but  lets hope for the best right?) but it is our responsibility to make things better. For no matter how much money any President throws around, if we don't change our spending habbits, our credit lifestyle and our priorities from "wants" first to "needs" first, all his hard work will be pointless.

I'm a firm believer in "do the crime, do the time". The majority of American people voted for Obama, our democratic system works that way, now we shall reap the benefits of our beliefs. If he screws up, we have only ourselves to blame, for those who voted for him will have to live with the same they did and those who didn't will have to live with the shame that McCain was the only thing we could come up with.

Diana's death may not have been important to Americans, however I live in a country where Diana was actually a member of my royal family and her funeral was watched by an unprecedented number of people with every single TV sation choosing to air it live. Your interest is neither here nor there, it was a significant moment witnessed by millions.

Leauki, maybe the Webster's is open-minded enough to include the word "cleverer", but the Macquarie isn't, so as I can't be bothered going through each of Obama's speeches for you, I'll simply point to the fact that he doesn't use made up words as evidence of his intelligence and leave it at that. You disagreeing with Obama does not mean he is not intelligent. Here, I'll even show you some bipartisanship here to demonstrate that you can recognise intelligence where there is no agreement. I once read an interview with GW Bush where I was surprised by how intelligently he spoke about Iraq. You see? It can be done. But I'm not surprised that you are incapable of doing that. Coming back to this, may I note that Champas-Socialist has not answered my question but instead attacked my (correct) grammar.

I don't know what my opinion of President Obama has to do with Champas-Socialist's ability to quote even one intelligent statement Obama had made.

And perhaps, given that Champas-Socialist believes that "cleverer" is a made-up term, he is not as capable of spotting intelligence as he thinks he is.

In situations like this it's best to ask for an example and then wait a year to see them being unable to come up with even one.

HA, Leauki! You have the patience.  You crack me up!  When ever the L-RD will's us to get together we'll have some great conversation and fun correcting each other to use the right words.  An example is chip.  A chip to me is a potato chip.  A chip to an individual in the UK is a french fry. 

Champas did say ' Your contributions are a waste of time and I feel upset with myself for even bothering to type this paragraph.'  Maybe Leauki, you made Champas so upset that he became filled with rage and now he is a rageaholic.  Due to him being a rageaholic he probably destroyed his computer in a fit of rage due to your paragraph writing.

There is one solution to this........ Leauki, you must stop writing paragraphs and write 5 or less sentences.  I think that's what the academic world considers a paragraph to be.
